ASUS R50A
The ASUSTeK company ready to release new mobile device. There is not a lot of information about new device. ASUSTek is saying that device will be called ASUS R50A and has 4.8 inch display with 1024×600 resolution. Also is should have integrated GPS.
For this point we can not say is this gadget is ultra mobile computer (UMPC) or Mobile Internet Device (MID). Also the big question is which OS it will have installed, Linux or Windows. According to the size we can say that it will be probably a Mobile Internet Device. The MID device is new to the world and been introduced by Intel. But as we can see many companies follows the new technology to keep themselves on the markets.

We will see if the R50A will run on Linux. I personally doubt it as there is so much software available for windows, why not use it?!

I am using Windows Mobile based device and I found a lot of different programs for it, but if you want to find free one you have to spend some time on the Internet.
